Nothing all was good
Very friendly and efficient
Took his time. Didn't feel rushed and felt confident he new what he was doing. Equipment was modern and all staff were friendly and helpful.
I found my appt extremely stressful, I was advised to contact my eye clinic to make an appt to see my consultant asap. I asked if I needed to be worried and he said yes I did. I am a type 1 diabetic and have suffered eye problems in the past and undergone Laser treatment and cataracts in both eyes.
My eyes have been settled and have not had to have treatment since 1995 I have been told that if i have another bleed there may not be anything that can be done, so to be told I needed to be worried was very upsetting.
I insisted that I needed to be seen at the hospital and had an appt 2 days later.
after a full examination my consultant advised me that all was good and remained settled and did not know what the problem was.
whilst I do appreciate your optician was possible acting in my best interests i spent 2 evenings and almost 3 days very tearful thinking that I was possible going to loose my sight.
Excellent service, staff were very friendly. Only one point I would make is that I had to hang around for a little while after the eye test to pay for it and would have liked to have got going home. The test was in the evening though so I do understand but didn't really see why the Optometrist couldn't have taken payment but assume he wasn't trained on the tills or had to prepare for the next patient.
The Optometrist (M A Wicker of Boots Riverside, Norwich) was particularly excellent at his job and extremely personable though so it really wasn't a big issue, just mentioning it as another person might find this a little annoying.
One more point - the chap who did the initials tests was also excellent and had brilliant customer service skills. Unfortunately I cannot remember his name but hopefully praise can be passed on to him as I was very impressed with his service. My appointment was on Thursday 2nd June at 17.30 and my name is Emily Kent.
